We worked with Unum to simplify this offering by providing you with a consolidated administrative platform, enhanced benefits and an easy approach to offering voluntary benefits to your employees at no cost to you.

 

Life Insurance, Short and Long Term Disability

    Employer Paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment

  • Free Employee Assistance Program for all employees and family members (Life plans), including three face-to-face counseling visits
  • Fully Portable

    Employer Paid Short Term and Long Term Disability

  • Replacement income for common short term and long term disabilities that are non-work related
  • Allows the member to focus on coming back to work rather than worrying about the ability to pay the bills
  • Coverage for disability absence include, for example: maternity leave, cancer treatment, or off the job back injury
  • Higher guarantee issue limits by 10-25% and lower participation guidelines
  • Higher package discounts on STD, LTD, & Life Insurance

Voluntary Plans

Voluntary life and accident plans and other voluntary products are available with little to no underwriting.

 

    Group Voluntary Life and AD&D

  • Locked in insurability - As long as an employee buys the minimum $10K of coverage they can buy up to the guarantee issue limit at any future open enrollment without medical evidence
  • Fully Portable at group rates
  • Survivor counseling service
  • Accelerated Benefit
  • Accident Plan
  • Off-Job coverage pays a schedule of benefits based upon type of injury (i.e. broken bones, sprains, cuts, sports injuries, burns, torn ligaments, etc.)
  • Employee does not have to elect coverage to cover a dependent or spouse
  • Rates do not increase with age and are portable

    Individual Voluntary Short Term Disability

  • Elect up to 60% of gross income up to a maximum $5,000 per month benefit
  • Rates do not increase with age and are portable
  • Covers pregnancy after 10 months in-force coverage

    Critical Illness

  • This coverage pays a lump sum benefit (based on a percentage of the policy amount) upon diagnosis of a covered critical illness

    Accident Insurance

  • The base plan covers injuries and accident-related expenses

    MedSupport Insurance

  • This is a guarantee issue policy that covers a hospital confinement, outpatient surgery or diagnostic tests
